Knee Arthritis Treatment

Sheri’s Case Study: Treating extreme pain in knees

Sheri’s arthritis in both of her knees was so bad she could hardly take a step. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most painful, Sheri rated her pain at “over 10.” She told us her knees were bowed and she was hurting constantly even when sleeping and that every step she took hurt badly. Sheri was a school teacher, has 6 children and 20 grandchildren.

The Stem Cell Procedure:

The Regenerative Orthopedic Institute was founded because medical science does have an answer to joint pain that doesn’t involve surgery… STEM CELL THERAPY. Stem Cell Therapy is the absolute leading edge of joint repair. It can restore function, eliminate pain, and allow you to once again enjoy your favorite activities – and life – to the fullest.

Sheri’s knee arthritis treatment involved the non-surgical stem cell treatment that harness the body’s healing potential through a natural process that combines growth factors and bioactive cells to repair the joints. Stem cell therapy is routinely combined with platelet rich plasma (PRP). This is a concentrate of platelets from the patient’s own blood. Among the effects of platelets is the release of growth factors into diseased or injured tissue. These growth factors stimulate the stem cells to regenerate new tissue. Stem cell therapy is a repair process than takes several weeks to occur. Even though the repair can take 2-3 months, improvement of pain and function can be seen much earlier.

Sheri’s results:

After the procedure, Sheri experienced swelling for a few days. She told us it took 4-6 weeks to feel the difference. When she went swimming, people who knew her at the pool would tell her that her legs looked straighter. Sheri said, “The pain was getting less everywhere.” We asked what her pain level was now. “NONE,” she replied. “I’m very busy and on my feet a lot.” Sheri told us she is 110 percent happy and would recommend the procedure to others.
